Hi guys! My name is Marisa Robinson and I’m a senior. I’m an English major and an Organizational Leadership & Management minor. I’m from a small town in central VA, Buckingham, where everyone knows each other. Coming from such a small town to the burg was definitely a culture shock for me. I had to learn how to listen to people’s opinions from both sides and filter through them to figure out what I actually believed. My plans after graduation are to take a gap year and work/study for the GRE so I can go to graduate school for my BA.
On campus I’m involved in Chi Omega, a social fraternity, and I tutor with Griffin School Partnership. I have been a tutor for about three years in a nonverbal special education classroom. I’ve unexpectedly loved ever minute of it and hope to continue doing things in this realm post graduation.
In my free time I love to watch Netflix, hang out with friends, and pet cute dogs (mine being the cutest of all time). I’m a really big family girl, which is a big part of who I am and the way I was raised. I love spending time with them and doing fun fam activities (i.e. concerts, etc.).
Thanks for coming to my bio!
